Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Wings

  • chicken wings separated into drumettes and flats
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 0.5 cup baking powder not baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp paprika
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper

For the Lemon Pepper Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper
  • 0.5 lemon juice of
  • 2 Tbsp honey

Garnish

  • lemon zest fresh
  • cilantro chopped

Instructions
 

  • Pat chicken wings completely dry. Toss with avocado oil in a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, mix baking powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Coat wings evenly in the dry mix.
  • Preheat air fryer to 380°F. Arrange wings in a single layer and cook for 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Increase heat to 400°F and cook for an additional 5–7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan. Add soy sauce, chopped garlic, black pepper, lemon juice, and honey. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Toss cooked wings in the lemon pepper sauce until well coated. Garnish with lemon zest and cilantro. Serve hot!

Notes

Use aluminum-free baking powder for best flavor. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Wings can be reheated at 375°F for 5–6 minutes.
