Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 6 large dill pickles halved lengthwise
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1-2 tbsp diced jalapeños optional but encouraged
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil spray or melted butter for crispy coating

Instructions

  • Slice pickles lengthwise and scoop out the centers to make little 'boats.'
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  • Fill each pickle half with the cheese mixture. Let it slightly overflow.
  • Press the stuffed side into panko breadcrumbs to coat well. Spray with olive oil.
  • Place stuffed pickles breadcrumb-side-up in the air fryer. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes until golden.
  • Let cool for 1–2 minutes. Serve warm with dipping sauce of choice.

Notes

Pat pickles dry before stuffing for a crispier result. Substitute jalapeños with red pepper flakes or omit entirely. For a low-carb version, try crushed pork rinds instead of panko.
